My own love story…

You’re giving me the honor of capturing yours, it’s only fair that I share mine!

We met online!

I was newly divorced and not actively seeking something serious, though I knew I wanted that someday. My ex and I had been together for ten years, seven and a half of which we were married. After much prayer, I surrendered to God, telling Him I was open to whatever and whoever He wanted in my life. I never expected it to happen so soon! After a few weeks of messaging, texting, and video chats, Chris drove four hours to meet me in person.

Less than 2 months later….

You know that saying, “When you know, you know”? Well, it couldn’t have been more true for us. Once we realized our connection was something special, we didn’t want to waste any more time apart. We decided to get engaged quickly and tied the knot even faster. It was a whirlwind, but it felt right, and we were eager to start our lives together.

Currently

This September we will be celebrating our 14th anniversary as husband and wife, and I wouldn’t change a thing! Together, we have a wild, adventurous 10-year-old son, Gregory. Our family also includes a lively two-year-old chihuahua named Ranger (who’s currently in training as my service dog). We have a growing farm with chickens and rabbits (more animals on the way). We’re living our dream and cherishing every moment of this wild, crazy, and loving journey together.
