Anatomy of a Boudoir Session

First off – what’s a boudoir session?

You may have seen boudoir session pins on pinterest and while it might have piqued your interest – you aren’t exactly certain what it is and what it entails. The actual definition is as follows: “Boudoir” is a French word meaning a lady’s private dressing room or bedroom. In photography, boudoir refers to a style in which women pose for photographs partially clothed or in lingerie.

Ladies – no matter how nervous you may feel – I promise, after a glass of wine and joking around with me, you’ll forget about your nerves! I’ve had my own boudoir pictures done and it’s seriously so worth it to feel like a star

A few times a year I offer Boudoir Mini Marathons. I rent a hotel room and these minis booked back to back with a few minutes in between. It’s the best way to “try” it out! You can even get a friend to book one too or just tag along!
